I arrived to perform a diagnostic on an air conditioner. Upon arrival customer stated that the a/c isn't cooling and that he had to charge system in the beginning of season. Noticed fan motor is working and the compressor is not, Found 45/5 dual capacitor has failed, Replaced capacitor and system kicked on operational normal, Checked refrigerant pressures and found system slightly low on refrigerant, customer isn't interested is charging system at this time, and will give us a call in fall to get an estimate for new system replacement. System operational and cooling at departure.

I returned to a home that I had recently serviced. Humidifier damper open. Closed suction Pressure goes up. Humidifier also on supply needs moved to return. 2.5 ton blower motor on 2.5 outdoor and evap. Needs a 3 ton blower motor. Will be ordering a 59sc5b06014-12 blower motor for this unit. This units blower motor was not sized right carrier uses 350 Per ton max cfm for this system 875 not enough. Evap was just changed as well as condenser coil. No leaks present at this time.

Kicked system on and checked refrigerant pressures, and noticed pressures aren’t accurate. Went to furnace and found evap coil is iced over about 3/4way. Talked to customer about turning heat on for about 20 minutes to help melt ice away and customer is ok with that, after ice melted kicked system on and checked refrigerant pressures and found system low on refrigerant. Then performed an electronic leak search and found the condenser coil leaking. Need to replace condenser under warranty. Customer has temporary cooling for now .

Upon arrival found system low on refrigerant. Spoke to customer about leak search/repairs and replacement, customer decided to only charge system for now to buy some time and look into system replacement later. Charged system with R22 and it took 2.5LB, and hopefully this will last for the season. System operational and cooling at departure.

I completed a diagnostic on a 2014 Trane Gas Furnace. Determined that outside unit wasn't running. Put into test mode and system ran fine. Shut system down and made some adjustments to the thermostat, turned system back on and it ran fine. System was operational at time of departure.

I completed a diagnostic on a 2014 Trane Gas Furnace. Upon inspection of furnace I determined that the heat pump was operational but the furnace was without propane and unable to run outside of emergency propane heat. Advised customer to order the propane.

Upon arrival for service call on 1994 Trane furnace, furnace was not operational. After further diagnosis, discovered that the trap is clogged and holding water also noticed water leaking from the backside of the inducer motor. Took trap apart and blew out with drain gun also took flame sensor out and cleaned it. Furnace fired up and went through heat cycle with no faults or error but it is leaking water from the backside of inducer motor and if it makes it down to the circuitboard or the transformer it will fry the board. Performed combustion test and we may have a secondary heat exchanger, issue access air is over 300% and O2 at 16.3% and 1 to 6ppm. Offered customer a second opinion and recommended system replacement due to age and cost of repairs. Customer is definitely interested in a second opinion and possibly a system replacement. Furnace operational at departure.
