Today I had New Albany Heating & Cooling out for our spring checkup as part of our maintenance contract. Everything went well and Jason was wonderful to work with. He was clean and neat and courteous. He put coverings on his shoes when he was in the house. They have been servicing our furnace and air conditioning for several years and are always professional and punctual. They make good recommendations to make our system work better and are reasonably priced. They don't oversell. Just the right amount to make our system work well. We highly recommend New Albany Heating & Cooling. They do a great job.
They called ahead to confirm time, showed up on time. Check heating first, then gave a detailed report on A/C unit.
He was awesome and got me up and running again in a short period of time
Amanda was very helpful, knowledgeable, and thorough with my air conditioner tuneup.
During a tune up on a Carrier air conditioner, I found that the system was low on refrigerant. I gave customer options and quotes for a leak search and adding refrigerant. Due to age and condition of system, customer has opted to have new system installed.
I performed diagnostic service call on Carrier Air Conditioning Unit. I found outdoor capacitor has blown, restricted filter, I replaced, and condenser coil is 50% restricted. Contactor has ark marks on contact points. I provided customer with a list of parts that should be replaced to get the system running to further diagnose. Contactor is optional. Client wanted to replace with our compressor saver kit. I replaced parts system currently cooling within specs and per client it's a lot quieter. I will have to come back for contactor I ran Out. System Operational upon departure.
I performed diagnostic service call on Trane Air Conditioning Unit. I determined that dual capacitor has failed. I replaced dual capacitor then found condenser fan motor has failed. I recommended system replacement due to age and costs of repairs. I provided customer with repairs and replacement options. They will get back to us once they have had a chance to review options. System is NOT operational at time of departure.
