I completed a diagnostic. I found that the unit was low 3-4 pounds of Freon. I Spoke with husband of wife who was home and he would like a quote, he may have me back out to fill unit.
I performed a diagnostic on a Trane air conditioner. Discovered that there was an old half inch pvc pipe that had snapped and broke - repaired it from pieces and fittings on the truck. Discovered that the furnace drain and ac drain into the floor drain, floor drain is inline of utility door. Customer frequently has to move furnace drain to open utility door. I recommended a condensate pump to fix some of the issues. Unit's operational for the time being.
After removing the Tempstar gas furnace and Trane air conditioner, I installed a Carrier 80% 45,000 BTU Gas Furnace and a Carrier 13 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time. Included with the installation is a free 1 year service maintenance agreement.
