Reviewed a Goodman heating and air conditioning system in Lowell area. Current system needs new duct work design to improve air flow and increase comfort throughout the home. Main issue is the second floor being too hot in the summer months.
Boiler plugged from soot. Found the flu passage going into chimney plugged with birds nest. Removed flu piping and cleaned base of chimney. Removed flu collector box to gain access to the heat exchanger. Brush and vacuumed heat exchanger. Needed soot sword to clear main channel. Cleaned all burner logs. Reinstalled everything. Sealed collector box with furnace cement. Started system. Unit running very well.
