Upon arrival I completed diagnostics and found the problem ended up being a GFI outlet was tripped. Client had concerns about a dirty evaporator coil due to his filter not being in properly. Customer was made aware of it and does not want to do anything more at this point. Customer did not have a T safety switch on the evap coil pan, client opted to have us install one. Client was asking about fall and summer tuneups, technicians went ahead and did an AC tuneup while we were here. Everything checked out except for the unit was slightly low on refrigerant. Client opted for us to charge the system to the proper levels. AC system is operating within manufacture specs.
Upon arrival I completed diagnostics and found evap coil left in from a new ac condenser install last year ( not ours). Filters where clean, blower as ok, evap was not plugged. I sprayed off the condenser. Client decided to move the fence to see if that solves the water issue. I did not hear any unusual noise at this time. The system is operational upon departure.
Upon arrival I delivered portable AC units.
Upon arrival I completed diagnostics and found the blower was very dirty. There’s no obvious trouble with the blower besides the additional noise it was making, did not sound like a bad bearing noise. Air handler was in bad shape, floor was rusting out size were rusting out two bolts were holding the door on. Feeling a new air handler inside the crawlspace is not a valuable option. Client wants an estimate for a new heat pump electric furnace installed in utility room. Price may need to be adjusted on estimate.
I came out to do a diagnostic call on a 28 year old air conditioner that is not working. I added refrigerant to the unit and replaced capacitor! I recommended replacement due to age of unit! unit running upon departure!
I completed a repair on a Goodman A/C. I replaced the control board. Cycled and monitored system. Operating normally at this time.
