I completed a service call on an A\C upon arrival I found a drain line clogged. cut and cleared drain line and verified its not draining on. recommend replacing entire drain line or adding a condensate pump.
I completed a diagnostic on a Goodman A/C. The system is shutting off before upstairs can be effectively cooled. I recommended installing a T10 thermostat with a zone sensor.
Upon arrival I completed the Tune-Up and Safety Check. I visually inspected the unit. I checked the voltage, amps and pressures. I completed combustion analysis. I cycled and monitored the system. The system is operating normally at this time.
Upon arrival I Found system low on charge. I added refrigerant to system. Gauges are now have good temp and pressure readings. System operating at departure!
I completed a diagnostic on a Five Star Heat pump. A tornado knocked the heat pump off it's pedestal. The wiring is still good. I quoted repair for this. Customer is waiting on insurance.
I completed a diagnostic on a Honeywell thermostat. The thermostat is not turning on. I found a short in the molex wire connector. Will need a new wiring harness for furnace. I will order this and return once it is in.
I completed a return service on a Five Star Heat pump. I found the unit to be operating as intended. I determined that the client should keep an eye on the unit to see if any water is found and where it may be coming from. Unit is draining properly upon my departure.
After removing the Trane gas furnace and air conditioner, I installed a Five Star 96% 2 Stage Variable Speed 80,000 BTU Gas Furnace 5T 21" and a Five Star 16 SEER 2 Ton Air Conditioner. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
