Replace 50 gallon heater Upgrade flue pipe from 3” to 4” (need to do extensive chipping of concrete wall to send new line into chimney- this applies for the broken boiler exhaust as well. They were never properly vented into the chimney and boiler line has corroded and is falling apart it is not safe for use) Will seat concrete back up around penetrations Install new ball valve on heater to be installed

Shut off water and power to both navien tankless units in basement. Hooked pump up to isolation valves and cycled descaling solution through heat exchanger for approximately 45 minutes. Removed pumps and ran hot water through isolation valve and into sump pit to purge out any remaining solution and turned both units back on. Ran faucet in basement to check and water is flowing hot. Everything is in working order at this time. We must schedule hvac tech to come perform inspection on air conditioning.

Found stain on living room ceiling directly below master bath. Ran water from all fixtures but could not recreate leak. Opened ceiling in living room to expose piping and found shower drain to be plumbed incorrectly. Shower had no trap, it was undersized, and pipe was not glued into strainer. Cut out section of joist because shower drain was centered directly over joist and I could not fit a trap. Made a box using 2”x10”s to keep structural integrity. Ran new drain line from bottom of shower strainer and added a trap and increased size of pipe to meet code. Ran water for several minutes after completion and there are no leaks. Cleaned all garbage up and everything is in working order at this time. Customer must have Sheetrock repaired.

Tech arrived customer explained she had a shower with no hot after and a 30 y/o water heater. Tech explained pricing and procedure of options. While looking at the hot water heater tech noted the laundry valve had a small drip. Customer was given prices of replacing heater, shower cart., and laundry valve. Once tech was authorized to proceed, cartridge and valve had been replaced and tested to ensure no leaks were present and everything was functioning properly. Water heater had water and electric shut off prior to tank being drained. Tech replaced water heater with a similar model (new Bradford white 40 gal electric lo boy). Tank was then piped and wired in, once piping was complete, water was restored and lines bled, insuring no leaks had been present. Electric was then turned on to unit, tech let tank heat up and tested water to ensure it was working. At this time there are no leaks or issues.

Cut out old 3/4” union, rotted out 1/2” 90 , 1/2” tee (all copper). Replaced with new 3/4” x1/2” reducer, new piping, and fittings in place of old rotted out fittings. Tying into the old line a shark bite coupling needed to be used, the old piping was collapsing under the pressure of the press tool. Customer had been made aware and tech offered to give an estimate for replacing the old pipe, customer declined at this time.
