Excellent service!

From our first contact with the office staff to Ben (our plumber) everything was excellent. Ben was so knowledgeable and offered suggestions and was very pleasant. I will definitely use RS Andrews again and will ask for Ben!

Found both main and upstairs units frozen. thawed out both. main floor filter was completely impacted; freon to that unit ok. txv to upstairs unit was throttled down in mostly closed position. opened up valve by warming bulb now wide open and flooding coil-252/77 30 subcool 26 superheat. the apex circuit of the evaporator coil has never sweated back since it was installed. recommend replacing coil; Goodman ac unit for upstairs is brand new. replaced blown run capacitor at the barn.

Found air conditioner drain to upstairs unit partially clogged tripping float switch. flushed drain. refrigerant at 272/119 5-8 super-heat(piston). this units coil was replaced in 2014.

Found upstairs unit extremely low on freon; found compressor making a grinding noise/not pumping refrigerant. Apparently this air conditioner unit was replaced in 2012 with a dry charge air conditioner but the 15 year old evaporator coil which is leaking was not replaced. this more than likely caused damage to the compressor. recommend upgrading air condiitoner and coil or complete system.
