Technician made call for cool upon arrival. Diagnostic steps show no reading of capacitance, found other concerns including, fins at the bottom of unit smashed n preventing flow of air. Sealant covering penetration hole receding not sealing hole. No surge protection or hard start on unit. Unit coil very dirty needs cleaned. Customer stated he will clean coil and isn’t interested in accessories at this time due to age of unit. Presented option hm13A-B to discuss services and address concerns customer chose option b to replace sealant and armaflex in conjunction with replacing of voltage absorption unit.
