2004 Bryant air conditioner. Completed mechanical, safety, and performance test on air conditioner. Found concern with voltage distribution center. Contacts are badly pitted casing sparking and burning. Voltage absorption system is oversized for the fan by 2.5 microfarads. Also concerned with high inrush current when compressor starts up. May have issues with compressor startup this summer. Showed options on page hn5. Customer chose hn5c to address all concerns. Completed repairs and cycled system. All okay at this time.
