Completed AC check on a 2011 Bryant air conditioner. All mechanical components of the system check out at this time. During testing of the unit the technician found multiple faults. Technician found the voltage enhancement system out of manufacturers specifications, As well as the initial amp draw of the compressor to be outside of manufacturers specifications. The technician also found the voltage distribution system to show signs of age and wear, as well as no electrical protection device for the outdoor unit. Technician presented multiple options for repair but customer declined any at this time due to selling the house soon. Customer stated if the house does not sell before next spring she will readdress the issues and possibly move forward with repairs.
