Diagnostic: previously came out to do a tune up and the float switch had tripped wile on site. Returned to ensure it was not a something we caused. Verified the there is a clog in the drain line. It does run to a trap under the sink. Emergency drain pan has quite a bit of water in it but there is a pan switch installed. Gave the recommendation of the repair but the customer did not wish to do so at the moment. Fee waived by the manager.
Tune up upstairs system: systems electrical components are functioning properly all amp draws and capacitors were in range. Head was slightly high due to some build up on the condenser coil that was washed off and brought the pressure into range. Drain line had a clog and was tripping the float switch at times. There was no service tee to blow out the line or pull vacuum. Recommend Adding service tee or p trap to drain lines and blowing/vacuuming them out. Upstairs filter need to be changed as well
Ac repair: unit was not blowing cold air on arrival. Upon inspection noticed the compressor was not running due to a bad capacitor. Replaced capacitor for fan an compressor. Unit is now running with a 16.5 degree spit. No signs of damage to motor or compressor at this time. Pressure were in range as well.
Replacing the 32x36 secondary drain pan. New drain pan is installed and no water leaks present at this time.
