Customer was expecting a mini split to be much cheaper, we are way outside of her price range.
The system had an electronic short that originated at the contactor causing damage to the thermostat & control board at the Air Handler. Pete will be picking up the control board at Century this afternoon then visiting the home to get it replaced.
Check blower motor amperage checked all electrical connections check evaporator coil check primary and secondary drain lines checked all duct work check amperage on condenser fan motor and compressor check capacitor found capacitor weak replace capacitor check contactor check Freon levels
Check system and heat and cool unit cycling on and off advise homeowner to keep remote close to unit
Customer will supply all materials needed to complete the job, we will be responsible for installation, startup & testing.
repair: rewired furnace to install nest thermostat. System is operating normally at this time.
Customer will call back after the cold front if they are interested in scheduling a site visit.
Indoor Evaporator has a leak, Air Handler and ductwork have mildew/potential mold growth throughout, many Air leaks at Return & Supply Plenums, Heat Kit only functioning at half capacity. Drain pan rusted out, potentially leaking water into the ceiling. Recommend replacing indoor Air Handler, drain pan, evaporator coil, Heat Kit & Ductwork.
Ac repair: low voltage wire was wired improperly to outdoor unit. Wired low voltage wire correctly and system is cooling normally at this time.
Installed dampers, float switch, cleaned out insulation & sealed the unit.
Home warranty: blower keeps running. Replaced realays and board and completely unwired and the blower still continued to run indacating and issue with the ecm motor it self. Will get in contact with carrier and the home warranty company for replacement. Returned to install new blower motor. Blower is no longer continuously running. Cycled it on and off a the tstat multiple times and it turned off when it should.
Ac repair: water is building up in the draft motor housing from the roof jack letting rainwater into the flue pipe. Recommend getting a roofing company to come and repair the issue.
