When I called S&S they were responsive to my call and said they scheduled a service appointment to in the next week. I live 300 miles away and I asked them if I needed to be at the house for their service call. The lady I spoke with said they could service the AC without me being there and they said the technician would call between 2:00-5:00. So I made sure I was available that whole time and they finally called at 6:30. I understand that things go wrong and they get behind so that didn't really bother me but the technician said he couldn't do anything unless he could get in the house so that was pretty much a waste of time. So I called back and rescheduled. My wife drove the 5 hours to meet the technician and they fixed the problem. The reason I tell this story is because they charged us $75 for a 2 minute home visit. A completely useless visit that S&S said we didn't need to be at to fix the problem. So we got charged for an appointment that we would have never set up had we known we had to be there. I emailed S&S after I got the bill and told them I did think we should have to pay for a visit they told us we didn't need to be to but they have not responded to my request so I guess that means they really don't care because they got my money.
