Stevens Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning was a great company to work with, the staff was friendly and answered all of my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs.
Well I can't say it was a total waste but at the end of the day (the next day that is) I ended up fixing this my self. I was convince I had a leak in my wall however Stevens and the city insisted otherwise. Stevens left my house by blaming the cities valve however they came and changed that and still had the problem. So the city and another plumber I called told me to check for a pressure reducing valve which I found buried in a mysterious box in my yard a good 2' down. So no leak, 50-$60 Home Depot regulator and problem solved. I called the box mysterious because Stevens just blew it off as if there was nothing in it. Why would they bury an irrigation box and have bricks under/in it for nothing? BTW my main house cut off, yeah somebody decided that was a good place for it as well. Stevens never once mentioned a pressure control valve and the city helped me look for it right on the other side of the cities box. However it was about 5 feet from my house which is where the other plumber told me to look. I told the Stevens guy not to expect this house to be normal. At the end of the day it all worked out and I still probably saved hundreds of dollars. Next time I will do a little more research before calling in the pros. You live, you learn right?
My wife and I have just moved back to the Phoenix area and bought a house. It needed some plumbing work done, and we remembered Stevens as a company that always did excellent work from our last time in the area. Well, that hasn't changed, and they are still doing top notch work. If I had to sum it up, I would say their knowledge and professionalism set them apart.
Mid-1980s vintage Lennox A/C unit failed on a typical Phoenix June afternoon. Left voice mail that night, received a call-back early the next morning, and scheduled a service call for later the same morning. Technicians arrived on schedule and repaired or replaced several major components of the A/C condenser. Job complete by early afternoon. System now operates normally.
very professional. The plumber arrived on time, talked to us about what the problem might be, gave an estimate, did the work and we haven't had any trouble since.
Stevens has been my plumber for more years than I care to admit to! I feel I always get excellent service and am very happy with this company. I'm sure I'll continue to use them for many more years.
I've used them for years, and have always been satisfied with the service I've gotten.
I've had great experiences with Stevens all five times that I've needed it. The most recent was a clogged kitchen drain on Christmas. Stevens was out the next morning and took care of the problem in less than an hour.
Zach did a great job and finished up pretty quick. He also cleaned the area up well. I can't really comment on the pricing as I didn't get bids for the job and have no idea what going rate is.
Moved condensate to center so once drawer reinstalled could close.
Cut drywall and run 1/2†condensate line from unit into wall around corner and through wall under lav sink with branched tail piece. Will use nailplates as needed per code requirements. All drywall repairs are customers responsibility.
Found pressure regulator on side of home installed upside down. Installed properly and adjusted pressure to 70 psi. Found no other issues with noisy pipes or pressure issues at this time. Several issues with master tub/shower valve. Valve had been leaking internally causing corrosion to the point that a new cartridge will not work. Old cartridge is corroded in place and can not be removed without damage to brass valve body behind wall. If unit gives any trouble in future I recommend new valve be installed. Existing is brushed nickel.
