Up on arrival performed fall maintenance. Checked all zones for operation, checked air handler and condenser for operation. Found very small oil spot on bottom of the condenser, needs further diagnose.
Performed ac pm on system. Replaced provided filter. Flushed out drain with brush and hot water. Checked cleanliness of blower and coil. Checked capacitor and contactor, tightened electrical connections. Ran ac. Measured amp draw of compressor, loop pumps, and blower. Measured delta air temps and delta loop pressures and temps. Unit is operating normal. Customer has concern with damper actuator feeding 1st zone register. Actuator is connected to exposed duct running in 2nd floor bedroom. Duct is fed from Flex run in the attic, found limited space is why duct and actuator were left exposed. Customer said he doesn’t want actuator removed but he would like it moved to the attic, away from bedroom so he doesn’t hear noise when sleeping. Found we would need to extend 6inch round duct up in attic, because flex is routed through floor, and replace actuator with round duct coupling.
