Swift Services employee deserved to be 2018 Employee of the Year

My wife told me that Robert Prosser very clean and stopped to put his covers over his shoes before entering our condo. He was very polite and went right to work to accomplish his assigned tasks ensuring that our heating and cooling system was ready for the winter ahead. (It is also noteworthy to mention that he did not try to sell something, to my wife, that wasn't needed.) I know from experience that a woman left on her own, is subject to having repair men take advantage of them.

Maintenances are an important part of keeping your units healthy and working efficiently. Especially living so close to the beach it is important to get them cleaned and checked regularly to make sure they perform to their full potential and your home can remain comfortable year-round.

Service was ok

I thought the price was very high for cleaning out a small pipe.

Response from Swift Services Heating & Cooling:

Hello Francis, I am sorry to hear you felt the price was a little high. Sometimes it is not the size of the item, but the importance and difficulty in fixing the issue it may cause that determines the price. I have asked the operations manager to look into this situation and make sure you were charged appropriately.

Great service

Paul Horner came and added Freon when my unit was not cooling and we made an appointment to repair leak that he found the following week but the next day the unit again stopped cooling so he came back and did the repair that day so that I would not have to worry about not having a cool home over the weekend.

Response from Swift Services Heating & Cooling:

Hi Susan, we do our best to get the repairs done the same day so our customers don't have to deal with the heat any longer than they have to!

Waited for hours

Don’t seem to know how to schedule their appts. Kept us waiting for hours beyond the time told the serviceman would arrive. More than once.

Response from Swift Services Heating & Cooling:

Hi Palmetto Dental, we are sorry to hear that you had a to wait a little while, our technicians are known for doing a thorough job so it makes an exact time difficult to give as we want them to finish the job they are performing before leaving. I have let the general manager know about your concerns and he will be in touch with you.

Seasonal maintenance was performed to ensure safe and proper operation of the HVAC system. Testing was conducted in the cool mode based off of the outdoor temperature while also testing the electronic heat kit to prepare for winter. In addition to the normal cleaning procedures the homeowner communicated to me that he has had comfort issues with the upstairs room of the home. He described that the system was previously zoned and is interested in having the equipment rezoned. Maintenance data gathered is as follows: Return air filter status: Homeowner reported the filters as clean and changed recently, Delta T: -22°f (Temperature drop across the evaporator), Applied coil spray and algicide to cut bacteria and scale, Inspected accessible duct work, Tested 10KW Heater: 39.64 amps, Checked wire connections, Tested safety switches: Pan switch and SS2, Cleared primary drain, Monitored system pressures: 116/248 Conditions during maintenance procedures: Conditions include but are not limite

Arrived to perform maintenance on clients units. Sprayed and added algicide tablets to coils to help kill bacteria and break down any sludge that may be in the drain line. There is no water in the pan. Tested safety switches and they are working the way that they should. Air going in vs going out is(50 degrees and 69 degrees) which the Td is 19. Changed filter for client (20x30). Tested 45/5 dual run capacitor:(45/5). Checked refrigerant levels and they are where they need to be. All wires are tight and in good shape. At this time system is functioning properly.
