Was told water heater was electronic ignition but it’s not. Has pilot light Had to call technician back as there was a water leak at the new solder joint Block bricks and 4x4 tire stop had been moved. The bricks had been on their side but were replaced standing up which damaged my car when it was pulled back into the garage. Water catch pan was bent which may have happened when water heater was installed. Plastic hook was broken off wall. No instructions were given on how to maintain water heater. It’s very upsetting to pay $4,000 and not get what I expected. “Most modern water heaters don’t have pilot lights.” That is a huge problem with SDG&E gas cost.
