On this visit I inspected two systems a mini split and a regular split system. Mini split was very low on refrigerant, is 9 years old and on poor overall condition. Customer approved to charge it up with 5 lbs of R410A to get them going but I recommend replacing the system since oil traces can be found at the drain line suggesting a leak on the evap coil. Coil and blower assembly are a little dirty. No more issues were found. Split system was also low on refrigerant added 2 lbs of R410A. Inspected all electrical components and found no issues. Evap coil picture not possible. Tested heat mode with no issues. Customer provided a thermostat for me to install but was faulty, he is going to return it, declined one of ours. Cleared the drain lines, left systems running.
