Called out today to perform a precision tune up. Checked all electronics and motor components to ensure equipment is operating within manufacture specifications. Checked filter and cleared drain line. Measured the temperature drop across the coil. Outside I vacuumed the drain port. Foam cleaned the condenser unit and wiped down exterior. Equipment is operating properly at this time. I did notice that the condenser was not equipped with a surge protector. I highly recommended adding one due to the high level of surges and lighting in the area. If you were to ever be hit with a surge and it damages the outdoor unit the manufacture of the surge protector will cover up to 7,500$ Of damages that the AC manufacture will not.
