Called out today to perform a precision tune up. Checked all indoor and outdoor electronics and motor components to ensure equipment is operating within manufacture specifications. Checked filter and cleared drain line. The coil is heavily impacted with biological growth. It’s coating the wires, blower wheel and casing. I highly recommend cleaning or permanently eliminate growth by UV sterilization. Outside I ensured the community drain was free of blockage. On the condenser I noticed that the contactor coil is becoming pitted as shown in video. The bottom of the condenser coil is extremely corroded as well as the shell of the compressor. Client choose to get a one time cleaning of the blower wheel and the evaporator coil in place. Also replaced contactor. Equipment is operating properly at this time.
