Called out today due to no cooling. Tenants told me that this has been going on for about a week now. Upon arrival float switch was tripped due to the ice thawing. Left system off with the fan on to help the ice melt. The filter was extremely dirty and the ice was stuck to it. I was unable to see the under side of the evaporator coil. Thank you for always choosing Total Air! Wade h 11/10/2022 Unit has thawed out. Checked thermostat calibration and filter location. Filter is very dirty and needs to replaced. 18x18x1 Highly recommended pull and clean the evaporator coil. The coil is extremely dirty and can not breathe properly. Unit will freeze up when coil is not cleaned and can not pass air. I have sent this customer recommended estimate for membership and pull and clean evaporator coil. Needs Customer approval for evaporator cleaning.
