Basement system out of r-22 refrigerant. Due to cost of refrigerant and as old as system is, it is recommended it be upgraded to new more efficient system. Will need to have comfort advisor give call to customer for pricing.

Technician found main level furnace electrical switch is no good and not allowing 120 V to the furnace. Removed faulty switch and connected wires with wire nut so that furnace can operate and make heat. Unit is now heating normally.

Cleared clogged drain lines for main floor and master bedroom 90%+ furnace and shortened line so that it doesn’t hold water and freeze again overnight.

Found the main floor indoor unit tripped. The breaker is 50 amp , the unit requires a 60 amp breaker to run the unit with out tripping. I watch the amp draw on the unit, the unit with heat strips does not do above 42 amps before the breaker trips. The unit will only run the auxiliary heat/heat strips for 2 minutes before it trips the breaker. Breaker must be upsized.

I performed a maintenance on two gas furnace in the attic. I checked all the low voltage, checked the blower motor amperage and cleaned the flame sensor and checked the compaster on both systems. I changed the filters on both systems one 20x20x5 and one 20x25x5 filter. The system are runs and operating like they should be at this time home owner provided the filters

Upon arrival, customer explained to me that 3 of the systems were not operating properly, main floor and both basement systems. Main floor system has a natural gas furnace, draft inducer assembly had trash in it not allowing the inducer motor to start which was causing the furnace to lockout. Removed trash from inducer assembly and furnace is working properly. 2 basement systems are both heat pump units that are never on and running unless company or son is home. Both basement units are working properly. Advised customer to keep basement system on at a lower temperature just so it doesn’t take as long to bring the temperatures up from the systems not running at all.

I completed a two system heating maintenance.customer had recently replaced both media filters and there are still in new condition. I checked the amp draw on the blower and inducer motors. I cleaned the flame sensors and checked igniters. I checked the capacitors for the blower motors. I checked all safeties and confirmed proper sequence of operation. Both systems are currently heating at manufacturers specifications.
