Breaker is too small for system. Homeowner is going to call electrician and have them change it out to the correct breaker.
Completed- replaced air handler control board for system in crawl space. I tested function of the system and control board. System is currently operating at manufacturers specifications.
Completed two system heating maintenance. Both media filters are still good , they will need to be changed next cooling maintenance. I checked all electrical compartments on the indoor units. Confirmed proper function and amp draw on the heat strips and checked all safeties. I checked all electrical components on the outdoor units ,checked refrigerant charge and defrost cycle operation. Systems are currently operating at manufacturers specifications.
Will need to return and change out the indoor control board. It is burnt and that is the smell they were smelling.
Heat Strips=10 kw Installed 10kw heat strips . Tested and confirmed operation, received 40 amp draw on emergency heat mode.
Heat strip that was provided for this trip was not the correct model and will not fit into the existing air handler. The correct 10 kw heat strip will be ordered and office will schedule a return visit for installation. Estimate will also be provided.
Replacing two thermostats with honeywell T6 touchscreen Wi-Fi thermostats
Technician performed a 2 system maintenance.
2 system pm 2nd visit-Checked operations of systems. Replaced filters, checked capacitor outputs and amp drawls, checked refrigerant levels and auxiliary heat, triggered safety switches and defrost modes, and cleared drain lines. Systems are operating properly at this time. 2-20x25x4 still clean. Bring filters for the cooling visit.
Renewed customer's 2 system Safety and Efficiency maintenance agreement and performed his spring maintenance.
