2004 Goodman furnace does have organic growth all around the exterior of supply plenum and blower assembly/furnace interior. This is due to lack of maintenance. Also furnace is not up to code with gas flex entering furnace cabinet(should be hard gas steel pipe) Sending quotes to email Due to age system replacement is recommended
System has bad compressor. 10 year old Goodman 13 seer. Spoke to customer and she would like to speak to comfort advisor asap to get pricing for replacement.
Performed single system heating maintenance. Filter is not too bad. Customer states that they are receiving them tomorrow and will change. Inspected electrical connections, and components of indoor air handler. Tested and inspected emergency heat strips. Used lemon scented sanitizer to clean surfaces and treat evaporator. Blew out the drain line and treated with sanitizer. Operated system to inspect zoning and refrigerant levels. Tested the defrost cycle. System is operating properly at this time.
Preformed a 1 system detailed inspection, will be sending forms, invoice and quotes to customer. Pics uploaded
Breaker off for air handler. Turned on breaker and system operating properly.
Customer reports system not cooling properly upon inspection found a dirty condenser coil and system was approximately 2 pounds low on refrigerant cleaned coil and added 2 pounds of refrigerant system is now operating properly
Installed new evaporator coil under full parts and labor warranty.
Warranty- 2020 Rheem heat pump low on Refrigerant. I preformed a electronic leak search and found leak in evaporator coil. System is still under Rheem manufacture parts warranty and customer signed up for the maintenance plan within 1yr of installing so labor warranty is extended. I will be calling supplier for availability. In the mean time 6.5lbs of refrigerant was added to get system cooling until repairs. 20x20x5, pics uploaded
Performed inspection on air handler unit inside attic, treated the drain line and change the filter, checked all electrical components inside air handler. Performed inspection on outdoor condensing unit, checked refrigerant and all electrical components, the unit is clean and running as it should’ve this time.
Re-supported ceiling tile in service desk area. Pics uploaded Sending invoice to email for payment
Thermostat bad, not sending low voltage to air handler. Will need new thermostat
Arrived to replace flame sensor, determined it was not flame sensor but bad control board causing furnace to short cycle, will order part in morning if front office could remind me estimate built in service titan unsure if Matt already charged diagnostic fee so if not 98 will still need to be charged and dependent on price of board 100 or so dollars will need to be added to estimate informed customer of this as well, will email office that information once board is ordered.
