Installed new Goodman OEM furnace control board. After installation tested system operations, the furnace is functioning normally. Photos uploaded to customer file.
Completed one ccm maintenance on gas furnace located in attic i checked thermostat operations I checked zoning system I checked exhaust and gas line, did not change filter as it was good did inform her would need to be changed every 6 months. I pulled and cleaned flame sensor I cleared pressure tube inspected overall cleanliness of unit as well as blower watched cycle getting inducer amps and blower amps, system is operating normally at this time
Furnace control board, flashing a four blink code once again. Open high limit however, the high limit is not open the issue is the control board itself at the 12 pin connector. Because this has occurred previously and we have now cleaned up these pins/plug twice at a minimum the control board is going to need to be replaced. Estimate has been emailed for replacement of control board at $595.
Warranty call back, service technician here recently. It would appear today, that possibly a child in the residence may have turned off the power switch to the equipment, thinking it was a light switch. Switch is now marked heat and AC and residents are aware. Furnace is older, and there is a potential for more substantial issues to occur. However, at this time it would just appear that the power was turned off.
I performed a maintenance on a single stage gas furnace in a closet. I looked at all the low voltage, cleaned the flame sensor and also took the blower motor amperage. I changed the 16x25x5 filter also the system is running and operating like it should be at this time.
Arrived and diagnosed sticking/ failing pressure switch. I checked and confirmed the inducer draft motor is pulling -1.49 inwc. and pressure switch was stuck open. I was able to get it to free up eventually and system is currently heating but pressure switch needs to be replaced. Pressure switch is rated at -.80 inwc.
RTU #2 has holes rusted through heat exchanger. Heat was disabled previous to today’s visit. I did not see any previous record of it in our system, so perhaps another company disabled the unit. Either way We will provide estimate.
Technician found that furnace was displaying an open high limit code on the control board. However, all high limit switches tested closed. Technician then unplug and replug in the 12 pin connector on the control board and the code went away, and the furnace began operating normally. Potentially a poor connection in the 12 pin connector or an issue with the connector on the actual mortise self is causing this issue. If the issue continues, replacing the control board would be recommended.

Performed 5 system pma cooling maintenance replaced 12 20x25x2 filters 4 16x25x2 and 4 16x16x2 filters checked electrical components and refrigerant charge all systems operating properly at this time
Performed 1 system cooling maintenance 16x25x1 filter was new checked electrical components and refrigerant charge all systems operating properly at this time
I performed a two systems maintenance on two gas furnace changed the 16 x 25 by one check the blower motor treated the drain line blow the drain lines out. Check the charge capacitor and washed outdoor systems off. Systems are running and operating like they’re supposed to at this time.
Completed single system cooling maintenance.replaced 16x25x5 media filter. Cleared drain line and checked all electrical components on the indoor unit. I cleaned the outdoor unit,checked all electrical components and checked refrigerant charge. System is currently cooling at manufacturers specifications.
3 system tune up. Replaced 2-16x25x1 filters and basement filter brand new 16x20x1. All systems are on and cooling.
Customer is selling home and would like repairs done. The basement furnace is not working because of a shorted inducer motor, gas valve needs and sediment trap, and flu pipe needs to be reconnected with new PVC. Customer also stated that the upstairs furnace has a gas leak. I preformed a diagnosis and found no leaks. I cycled the furnace multiple times.
