If you’re someone that is building a new home, it’s a good idea to have a radon system installed ahead of time. Radon mitigation systems built into new construction homes is the best way to hide the entire radon fan along with the pvc pipe.
Here’s a picture of a radon mitigation system we installed inside this commercial building. There’s a few store fronts on the ground level and then apartments on the top floors. Radon gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer nation wide and is the number one leading cause for none smokers.
Radon gas and new construction: If you’re building a new house it’s a great idea to at least route the pipe for a radon system so it can be hidden. This style of radon prevention for new builds is called a passive system. We installed an entire radon mitigation system for Bosgraaf Homes today because their customer requested it. This is the 3rd home we’ve installed a radon system in for this homeowner. We are glad they choose us to keep making whatever place they call home safe from radon gas!
