CONCERN: Customer reports SAMSUNG dryer is not heating. Model DV448AEP/XAA DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected dryer for proper voltage from the wall to the cord terminal block, voltage normal. Inspected voltage from terminal block to dryer control assembly, voltage normal. Inspected continuity on all thermal safety thermostats, all thermal safeties are normal. Inspected continuity at heater element, found dryer heating element failed. CORRECTION: Replaced dryer heating element and tested. Operation now normal.
