CONCERN: Customer reports microwave is not heating CAUSE: Magnetron and diode failure. CORRECTION: Replaced magnetron and diode. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports GE refrigerator is not as cold as it should be. Model GSS25WTIBB DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected wall outlet for proper voltage output, voltage output normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for voltage input at the compressor, compressor voltage input normal at the time of inspection. NOTE: Compressor was running and cooling unit down. Inspected voltage input at the condenser fan motor, input voltage was normal at the time of inspection. Found condenser fan motor Locked up and not running. CORRECTION: Replaced condenser fan motor and tested. Operation now normal. NOTE: Also adjusted evaporator fan motor blade and cleaned condenser coils
CONCERN: Customer reports GE L/F Glass cooktop burner is not working. Model JBP72B0K1BB DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected cooktop for proper voltage from supply line, voltage is normal. Inspected cord to terminal block for signs of failure, cord to terminal block is normal. Inspected voltage output from control to infinite switch, voltage to infinite switch is normal. Inspected voltage from infinite switch to burner, voltage from infinite switch to burner is normal. Inspected burner receptacle, receptacle is normal. Inspected and performed Ohms test on burner, found burner assembly failed. CORRECTION: Replaced L/F Glass cooktop burner and tested. Operation now normal.
GE Refrigerator not cooling. CORRECTION: Repaired condenser fan motor and tested. Operation now normal.
