replace an existing gate valve beside the meter because it is leaking, and replace a hose bibb that is leaking beside the porch. GATE VALVE: Technicians will need to turn the water off to the house and drain the system. Once the existing system has been drained, technicians will excavate to expose the existing gate valve. Once the existing gate valve has been exposed, technicians will cut out and remove the existing gate valve. After removing the existing gate valve, technicians will install the new gate valve. Once all proper connections have been made to the new installation, technicians will turn the water back on to the house slowly allowing pressure to stabilize. Upon restoring water to the house, technicians will check for leaks and test for proper function. Once the technicians can verify that there are not any leaks and the new installation is functioning properly, technicians will back fill the previously exposed area.
