While I've had many Thanksgiving meals through the years with family, this was my first time going outside of family cooked for turkey and the trimmings. We had guests over and all of them remarked on how great the meal was. Yet, this was the first time we had smoked turkey for thanksgiving. In addition, I'm no fan of cranberry's or sauce derived from it but this smokey goodness had at least made me a fan of Smokin Steve's and we've elected to from here on out to make this a new tradition when we're hosting the Thanksgiving here. It saved us hours of prep as well outdid anything we could of prepped in terms of taste and convenience.
