Nine brackets with underpinning and 30+ jacks were used to balance my foundation in August 2019. The first night they left nine holes around my foundation uncovered. I have two small dogs and could not send them out into the backyard unaccompanied for fear they would fall in. I covered the holes with boxes as best I could. The company also used my electricity on two different days. I was told that if the jacks and/or underpinning needed to be adjusted, it would be done. The first time I requested to have the jacks adjusted because the floor was not level and new cracks were forming in the walls was October 2019. Someone came out & looked at it. I was told I needed to wait until the summer to make sure the soil was dry. About seven weeks ago in March 2020, the house started creaking again especially on the outside east wall. I sent at least three emails requesting that the jacks and underpinning get adjusted. The email I received back did not provide an appointment or the expectation of an appointment. The work on the foundation cost me all of my savings. Finances have been tight since I paid for the foundation work to be done. I would very much like the job to be finished. I hope my experience is unique. I heard a lot of good things about the company. Hopefully others have better service. I put off doing this survey, because I wanted to give a good review.

The pool surround in our backyard had multiple cracks due to a variety of reasons. We decided to lay new concrete over it. We verified there may be voids under the slab that would contribute to more problems down the road. After due diligence we came to the conclusion foam injection was the best way to achieve our goals without ripping the existing concrete out and starting over minus the $$$ it would entail. Research led us to Bay Area Underpinnings. Hence bright and early one morning Brian and Joe pulled up and made all our fantasies come true! We now can resurface on top of the existing surround with confidence. Nothing but praise here.

Brian and Joe worked to raise pool deck surfaces which had settled unevenly. When done the pool deck was back to level. We were very impressed with the care they took to lift the concrete sections individually to complete the overall alignment. The pool deck looks great and it saved us a lot of money by not having to have the concrete removed and done all over again. We are totally happy with the job. Five stars for Brian, Joe and Bay Area Underpinning.

After "many" interviews with other companies Bay Area Underpinning gave me the most comprehensive estimate and fair price. They listened to all my questions and they gave the right answers. The pricing was excellent. The technicians and crew that lifted our foundation really hit it out of the park. We had a small section that was sinking from erosion. Bay Area Underpinning came in and poly lifted it and leveled it back off. This was a quarter of the price to replace and no headaches. Would highly recommend BAU to anyone needing there concrete leveled off.
