Was IT the circuit board or the eyes needing adjusting?
Very impressed with techs knowle dge, abilities, and style in design.
Great service on a complicated job from Tyler . He went out of his way to correct a bad instalation ..
I appreciated Tyler's ability to address my concerns with a scheduling mix-up. I had an appointment for 9:00 - 9:30, so when no one showed, I called the main office around 10:15 to verify that I was on the schedule. The scheduler took a minute to find out, and then said a technician would be there by 11:30. When I made the appointment with Mike, he told me that two men would be coming out to do the work. (This was my third appointment with an electrician from Ameriserv due to a request from the office that the estimate be done by someone specific in the office.) I had expected to have the work done today, but Tyler was sent out to just do an estimate. Tyler was there by 10:30 and gave me a call as soon as he arrived. He took his time answering my questions, didn't make me feel rushed and went over the details of the assorted electrical fixes I requested. He really has great people skills which I have found to be rare among good technicians. He was personable as well as knowledgeable, and this inspired me to add to the work order some "extra" electrical needs that I had been postponing. I was disappointed with not getting started on the actual electrical work today and having to schedule two weeks out, but this wasn't Tyler's fault, and he did turn the initial negative experience into a positive one just by his promptness, genuine acknowledgement of the scheduling difficulty, and professional demeanor overall.
The gentleman who came to the house was wonderful, Mr. Beck, very courteous and persistent in trying to diagnose the problem when it was not happening while he was here. He asked me to speak with his manager so that he could ask me about the service I received, so I gladly did. The gentleman who I spoke with was very nice, but way too persistent. It felt like a high pressure sales job and it put the employee in front of me in a very uncomfortable situation. Pressured sales that require an instant commitment are usually a red flag to head the other direction. Mr. Beck apologized profusely and assured me that it was not the case and that the owner of the company very much cares about the longterm customer. I would give Tyler Beck 5 stars - but for overall I gave 4 because of the phone call withe the manager.
I've used Ameri Serve for my garage door twice and this time for my home air conditioning. Same great experience.
An excellent experience, from the initial phone call telling me the repair team was twenty minutes away, to the friendly technicians, to the completed job. My garage doors open and close as smooth as butter, better now than when the house was new. Quick, painless, and affordable.
