I provided a quote for a complete home rewire. Conducted a thorough inspection of the existing electrical system, identifying outdated aluminum wiring and insufficient grounding. Recommended upgrading to 12-gauge copper wire throughout the home for improved safety and efficiency. Included installation of new Leviton AFCI breakers and tamper-resistant receptacles. This rewire will enhance electrical safety, code compliance, and overall system reliability for the entire home.
Today, I repaired the electrical wiring in a master bathroom. The homeowner reported flickering lights and intermittent power loss. Upon inspection, I found frayed wiring and a faulty GFCI outlet. I replaced the damaged wiring with 12-gauge copper wire and installed a new Leviton GFCI outlet to ensure safety and code compliance. Tested the circuit to confirm proper function and restored power. Advised the homeowner on the importance of regular electrical inspections to prevent future issues. This repair improved both safety and reliability in the bathroom's electrical system.
Working this morning in Port Charlotte for the replacement of electrical devices across multiple rooms. Installed Leviton Decora 15A switches and receptacles per NEC 406 specifications. Utilized existing cabling, connecting hot/neutral/ground conductors with approved wire nuts on pigtails. GFCI protected outlets in bathroom and exterior locations. Dressed wires neatly, secured devices to boxes with machine screws.
