Customer has two second floor bathroom exhaust fans they wanted upgraded. Customer had already removed the hallway bathroom fan. We installed the new customer supplied fan back in the old ones place and hooked back to the original wiring and 4inch venting. We removed the master bathroom fan and installed the other new customer supplied fan in that ones place, hooking back in the original venting and power as well. These new fans needed constant power and came with a new in wall battery operated controller. I removed the old original toggle switches in each bathroom that controlled the fan and the fan lights (4 total). I spliced wires through so that the new controllers would work. I placed new dummy switches (not controlling anything) in next to the new controllers so that customer did not have to remove the switch boxes and need drywall repair. Once fans and controllers were installed I synced the controllers and tested. I then showed customer how to control fans and how to sync their
