Customer had recessed lights not working. While completing my performance and safety assessment, I discovered that the switches were backstabbed causing heat to loosen the connections. This was on all devices throughout home. Customer mentioned that in 2021 during the tornado, they lost power to the rear of the home and had devices in that part of the home re-deviced. Although they were terminated on the screw properly, they were not spliced together which could cause a break in the circuit if one of the devices were to fail. As soon as I pulled the switch out, it began to work again. I will be replacing both switches that control the lights as well as installing a surge protector in the panel. I highly recommend re-devicing the entire home to prevent this from happening again in the future. With the house only being 5 ears old, this should not be happening if they were spliced and terminated properly. As well as surge protection. Today I will replace the 3-way switch and dimmer s
