We are replacing the main service line from the overhead point of attachment to the meter can then over to a new emergency disconnect. We will also replace the line running into to the home to the main panel. We will also be installing a new grounding system to meet the national electric code. This includes 2 8ft ground rods and main water grounding. Once work is completed we will have new work inspected by county inspector so that BG&E can tie in new overhead wire. We also are replacing the exterior rear GFCI and installing new weatherproof in-use covers on this device and the one on the back deck. We repaired cut wire feeding outlets on work bench in basement work shop. We will be returning on Thursday 9/16 to complete work for inspection. 9/16 Returned today and completed work. New wire from new disconnect is now live (from temporary connection from the old meter). Once inspection is completed by county inspector, BG&E will come out and tie in new line into a new meter can.
