Responded to call for upstairs air handler not operating. Upon arrival customer advised hvac tech has already responded and determined air handler did not have proper voltage. Inspected. Found one phase to unit is lost. Inspected breaker. Found defective breaker has started to burn the circuit wire. Inspected sub panel. Found sub panel was fed with 6 gage 2 wire and was powered with 40 amp breaker. Found bus bars in sub panel have over heated due to improper service for load. Advised customer of all findings. Customer agreed to option. Replaced all circuit breakers in main panel. Separated all double tapped neutrals in main panel. Installed new 2 gage 4 wire feed for sub panel. Replaced sub panel. Installed all new breakers in sub panel. Relocated dryer circuit from main panel to sub panel. Tested all installs. All are operating properly at this time. Power restored to upstairs air handler. Install 2 customer supplied Ring security/camera lights. Includes power and fixture boxes for both lights, install, setup and labor warranty for wiring and installation.
Looked at lights on front porch and gave a quote for that, but during the call we realized that the customer had a federal pacific electrical panel that is unsafe. The electrical panel also needed to be relocated due being too close to the water heater. We left quotes for all the work that needed to be done. Advised customer that they needed to get the work done as soon as possible even if it wasn’t by us.
Installed new electrical panel and relocated panel due to hvac system. Due to old on being a fire hazard. Installed new grounding system. Installed new ac disconnect. Had to replace some of the wiring. Reattached service wire as best as we could. No warranty on existing service wire.

Gave estimate to replace the panel and outlets through out the house due to the panel has paint sprayed on the buss bar and is an old Murray panel that has been rejuvenated and the devices trough out the house have been backstabed
