I met Dan yesterday for a quote for a remodel project I'm doing. He was on time and very courteous. He listened to my rambling of what I wanted to do and helped me understand the full scope of my project. He was pleasant and very knowledgeable and reassured me that what I wanted to do could actually be done and not destroy my home in the process. He also assured me that the quote offered for the project will stay as is even if there was an issue later on and more time would be needed to complete the job as quoted.

I needed someone and they were there in an hour
Responded to call for need ac circuit. Upon arrival customer advised he is installing a mini split and needs 20 amp 120 volt circuit installed. Customer advised of no space left in electrical panel. Inspected electrical panel. Found panel is not equipped for tandem breakers. Advised customer of all options. Customer agreed to option. Installed new 60 amp sub panel. Relocate water heater circuit from main panel to sub panel. Installed new 20 amp 120 volt circuit for mini split. Installed ac disconnect at exterior ac unit location. Installed whip from disconnect. Did not wire unit. Customer advised he is installing the unit himself. Tested all installs. All are operating properly at this time. Found no other issues at this time. Customer is 100% satisfied with today’s service. Thank you. Eric Messer.
Responded to call for partial power outage. Upon arrival customer advised Ga Power has already responded and advised problem is internal. Inspected panel. Found panel on carport is an interior panel and not an exterior electrical panel. Found all breakers in panel are extremely worn. Tested power at main lugs. Found 240 on B phase and no power to A phase. Advised customer of diagnosis fee to locate issue. Customer advised he is not the home owner and will need to advised home owner before proceeding. Customer stated home owner is an attorney and will not answer the phone but will return his call when available. Thank you. Eric Messer.
Checked ring doorbell system. Issue is in the button. Advised customer to get replacement and will reinstall once new one arrives.
Responded to call for kitchen light not working. Upon arrival customer stated light bulbs have been replaced and fixture is still not operable. Inspected fixture. Found fixture is a 2 lamp 4ft T12 fixture. Due to lights are dim advised customer of the defective ballast. Customer agreed to estimate. Removed existing T12 ballast in the kitchen light fixture. Installed new T12 ballast. Tested fixture. Fixture is now 100% lit. While in the home noticed an electrical burning smell. Visually inspected all outlets in the home. Found no issues with the outlets. Traced smell to ceiling fan in dining room on dimmer switch. Advised customer smell is most likely due to ceiling fan motor is defective which is caused by being operated by dimmer switch. Inspected electrical panel. Found no burns or corrosion. Found neutrals in the electrical panel are double tapped. Advised customer of the dangers of double tapped neutrals. Customer declined repairs at this time. Found no gfci protection in th
Added switch leg and hot feed in kitchen for ceiling fan. Mounted pancake box on stud. Was able to run wire though cabinet. Also installed outlet at switch box. Installed surge protection on panel and replaced all all breakers and separated double tapped neutrals. Hung customer supplied ceiling fan.
Install new hard wired chime for RING doorbell. Includes install of power feed, 2 boxes (1 for chime transformer and 2nd to reinstall switches), communication wire for RING unit to chime, furnish and installation of Standard chime kit.
Ran diagnostic found defective gfci in the dinning room that controls craw space replaced gfci and added surge protection
Replaced the panel added gfci circuit in the upstairs bathroom and replaced the gfci to the right of the sink
Replace fuse panel with new breaker panel. Install grounding system per N.E.C. Built in shelf will have to be altered for new panel. Replaced old fuse based panel with new siemens ITE load center properly grounded panel with two eight-foot ground rod separated by number six bare wire with an intersystem bonding black on the front of the house. All cable and phone lines should be grounded to send intersystem bonding block. Separated individual ungrounded circuits throughout house and protected feed with GFCI point of use outlets.
Quote for panel replacement. Customer declined 13 point inspection due to not owning home.
