Today I cut in four new recess cans and connected them to the existing switch wiring, took down the light fixture in the kitchen and replaced it with a wafer trim LED and installed dimmers in place of the two toggle switches. I also relocated the existing wiring for the recess can over the sink so that it is behind the wall rather than between the studs and the drywall, and installed “line side” GFCi receptacles in the hall bath, master bath, and outside.
