Homeowner had issue with irrigation pump breaker tripping. Tech John diagnosed the issue and found a 15-Amp breaker to be loose from the bus bar, barely making a connection. The poor connection caused the breaker to heat up excessively which made the breaker trip. Due to the age and condition of the breaker, it was replaced. Since the wire and components on the circuit are rated for 20 Amps, a 20-Amp breaker was installed to allow the circuit to reach its full potential.
