Response from TE Certified Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Cooling:
Thank you for the five stars, Bridgette! We truly appreciate your support and are glad you had a great experience with us.
Lexx did a great job in installing the heat pump water heater and explaining how it everything worked. My overall experience was outstanding!
Schedualed an appointment for next day, they ended up calling me back about 45 minutes after scheduling saying a tech was in the area and could come now. I had tried to replace the shower cartridge and made it worse. The tech, Austin was professional, and got the job done. Price was far less than I was expecting, and repair took no time. Will definitely be using them again for any plumbing needs.
Lexx was perfect. Diagnose the problem quickly found a replacement part drove two hours to get it and returned and installed. FIXED!!
My main hesitation to a better review is feel He tried to over sell me and added things I didn’t need and tried to slip them by me We settled on a price he said he could come back today and he would go to his shop and be back within an hour and a half. I waited three hours on him. They were there a good while working on my sink and then they said they bought the wrong water heater said they’d be back in an hour. It was an hours and 45 minutes later that they came back, and after that, they worked hard and they got out another hour and he gave me $100 off the quoted price because of the inconvenience but I didn’t get to see prices for my size water heater because he traded me out for a smaller one, also tried to sell service to maintain my water heater for maintenance for almost a thousand dollars Is that standard for you guys? I live on a very tight budget and my home needs lots of things. I am looking for someone I can trust to begin getting them done.one by one I really felt like I could trust the guy from your company who fixed the a/c earlier this summer and would call him Again Although Brandon was really nice and I know he had to be tired. it was a long day for both of us but I don’t understand why he didn’t measure the space where the water heater was supposed to go before he gave me an estimate in the first place or brought one to my home However they did an excellent job when they came back of putting it in and making sure everything was working properly. The new hot water heater looks very nice and I’m very thankful we have hot water tonight so it’s just honestly a mixed review.
Replaced two Price Pfister shower cartridges. Replaced one lavatory faucet. Installed new supply lines on the faucet.
Customer had a galvanized compression coupling for the kitchen sink pop off resulting in a flood in the kitchen. Water was turned off to the home upon arrival. Today I cut the back wall under the sink to expose the water lines and cut into the copper lines for the sink, stubbed out new lines, and installed new compressions water stop valves. Hooked up kitchen faucet. After install I pressurized the system, bleed the air, and tested for leaks. Everything is good as of right now. Will be providing a whole house repipe quote.
1 System Maintenance Cycled system through both heat and cool from thermostat, changed the 14-25-1 filter, took temperature readings at indoor equipment, flushed drain line with mighty pump, checked and tightened all electrical connections, and tested all major components and motors. System is operating properly at this time with no issues or irregularities. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!
During our visit, the customer mentioned a gas leak was located by the local gas company. They also turned the gas off and locked the meter. The leak is located on a gas line that is coming out of the ground and into the side of the house. The black iron corroded and has began to leak. I located a shutoff valve for that gas line in the crawl space. After closing that valve, and all of the other gas appliances, a pressure test was done on the gas system. I pumped the lines up with 20 psi. After a couple of hours, the gauge never lost pressure. Considering the potential cost of the repair for the leak, the customer decided to eliminate the gas line. An estimate was created for us to return and remove the pressure gauge and reinstalled the gas line to the meter after inspection is completed.
During our visit, a new 50 gallon electric water heater was installed in the storage closet. A new expansion tank, ball valve, pan and leak alarm were also installed with the water heater. An anode warranty extension kit was added to extend the life of the manufacturer warranty to a total of 10 years. The main water line was rerouted up to the water heater area. This allows the customer to shut the water off without going into the crawl space. A new pressure reducing valve was also installed and relocated behind the water heater. Each fixture was ran to purge all air out of the water lines. These repairs were tested for leaks and functionality after completion. Thanks for choosing Te Certified!!
Homeowner had leak in front yard. Dug down to find shark bite fitting cracked and decayed. Removed shark bite and section of pex and installed stainless steel fittings and new pipe. Checked and tested for leaks. Back filled hole. Homeowner purged water lines. Found homeowner water heater to be 14 years old and past life expectancy. Discussed risk of water heater and recommend replacement.
Customers meter was spinning whenever I arrived. Emergency shut off and p r v are in a box in front of the meter. I went through the house to isolate everything to see if anything slowed down, they do have a toilet that is running. But is now shut off. This did not completely get rid of the leak. However, and in the box with the p r v and emergency shut off, there was a leak. Customer agreed for us to replace the emergency.Shut off the p r v and repair the leak. Removed all three items and replaced with a watts.A u b on pex. Afterwards slowly turn the water back on and tested for leaks. There is still a very slow leak somewhere else. I have talked to the customer about leak. Detection. They have not decided to move forward with anything as of yet. Thank you for choosing and trusting t e with your plumbing needs
Customer stated there was a leak coming from the water heater. Further inspection showed that leak was actually coming from expansion tank. Water pressure was also checked and registered at 85 psi. Customer was informed of the issues and elected to change the PRV as well as expansion tank. We also informed the customer of the of the water heater and recommend replacement. Work was thoroughly tested for leaks and pressure was set to 65 and expansion tank was set to 75. Thank you for choosing TE.
The homeowner experienced a water leak in the front yard, but we were unsure of its source. I presented the homeowner with various options, and he decided to replace the entire line through trenching. I installed a temporary water line using 1-inch black poly pipe around the driveway, connecting it to the house. To secure the connection, I used three-quarter-inch soft copper through the penetration, applying hydraulic sealant and roof tar around the area to ensure it was watertight. After completing the installation, I tested the system for leaks and informed the homeowner that our trenching team and I would arrive on Monday at 9 AM.
Installed a new EV charger circuit. This circuit is rated for 60 amps. This allows for the fastest available charging output. We installed a 60 amp rated circuit from the main electrical panel to the new charger location. We installed a new 60 amp breaker at the main panel. We installed a new customer supplied Chargepoint wall connector. We ensure all connections are tight and also set up the charger via the chargepointe app. We also replaced the garage bay light with new LED bay light. We purchased this light and set the color and brightness. I also discussed with the homeowner about updating his grounding system. Everything is working upon departure.
