We came out today due to a power loss issue effecting part of the living room, part of the master bedroom and the master bathroom. Customer stated that they plugged a vacuum into the 1st receptacle on the right of the living room that the power went down. I used a plug tester and it was reading “Hot/Ground Reverse” we found that circuit #7 controls this circuit and we hooked a toner to it. I went into the crawl space and found a newer 12/2 NM-B cable leaving the panel and going up into the wall by the kitchen. I went into the master bedroom and got a strong signal at the switch box. After removing the tap and turning the breaker back on we discovered that the living room was not on. We checked the receptacle in the master bedroom just to the right of the switch box and it was reading normal but the next one down we found “Hot/Ground Reverse” so we went into the first bedroom on the right on the main level before the master bedroom and checked the device on the right hand side and teste
