Homeowner called us for a homecare inspection. In my inspection I found that the shutoff valves for the whole house and the hose spigots were rather corroded. The whole house shutoff valve was also practically inaccessible. The hose spigots were not properly mounted either. I cut out and replaced both hose spigots. I mounted the hose spigots to the wall and sealed them with clear silicon. They are also equipped with vacuum breakers. I cut out and removed the shutoff valves for the two hose spigots and replaced them with new quarter turn shutoff valves. I cut out and removed the old whole house shutoff valve and the pressure regulator and replaced them with a new 25AUB and a new quarter turn shutoff valve. I moved them approximately 3 feet closer to the wall so they would be accessible in case of an emergency. I pressurized the system and checked for leaks. Everything is functioning as it should.
