As we arrive today, Chris explained to us that the exhaust fan for the kitchen area. Every time the switch will get turned on the breaker would trip. We removed the switch cover and check the switch thoroughly and everything looks good on it. We also removed the panel cover to check inside. All connections were solid. We swapped out the existing breaker with a new one just to see if that was a problem, but as soon as we turned the fan back on the new breaker tripped as well. Unfortunately, the fan motor on the roof seems to be the problem. The fan motor itself is probably locked up and needs to be replaced. While I was inside the electrical panel, I did see multiple breakers that had oil on the front side and inside a little bit of the breakers. This is not normal unless you have high heat situations in the panel where the breakers themselves are starting to break down. These breakers are about 25 to 30 years old, which is about the life expectancy of most breakers. I’m attaching an e
