Valves could not be replaced due to wrong style os&y valve. We have placed the system on fire watch with the customer because system can not be recharged due to broken valves. A new back flow is required. This quote covers the cost of replacing the existing detector check valve with a new modern backflow preventer. We will order the new back flow without shut off valves as we have 2 new ones onsite already and an approved quote to replace them. Please note type of backflow spec'ed for this is Ames/Colt C 300 double check backflow complete with bypass line. Price includes this new device, testing upon install, (2) new pipe stands to support the entire riser area as there are none present at this time. While onsite we will replace 2 tamper switch's and repair the remaining damaged pipe from the OSY replacement job at no additional cost.
