Recently one of our licensed technicians was at your location to perform the service on your fire suppression system. During that inspection the following deficiency was found. Fire suppression system cylinder is due for hydro-test. A pressure test, rebuild and refill is required. DOT and the system manufacturer require that these system cylinders are tested every 12 years. NFPA 17A section 7.5 states; 7.5.1The following parts of wet chemical extinguishing systems shall be subjected to a hydrostatic pressure test at intervals not exceeding 12 years: (1) Wet chemical containers (2) Auxiliary pressure containers (3) Hose assemblies Cartridge is at the 12 year mark and must be replaced. System regulator is reqy=uired to be tested at the same time Repair of these deficiencies is essential to overall life safety. Please see attached quote.
