Customer called in for an estimate for new garage door opener and for the springs to be adjusted. Quoted the customer for a new opener and 2 remotes with Wifi and installation. Set up an appointment for the following day between 4pm and 6pm. Installed the new opener and programmed the remotes. Helped the customer set up the app on his phone to connect with the garage door opener. Checked out the springs on the door and tightened to fit the door properly.
Customer needs weather sealant replaced at the bottom of the garage door and wants the springs to be checked out because of some odd noises and cracks when the garage door is opening and closing. Technician replaced the weather proofing and also replaced both springs after recommendation to customer. Springs were ok at the moment but would probably need to be replaced soon due to the age of the door.
One of the springs just broke on the garage door for a customer. Scheduled an appointment for that even between 6 pm to 8 pm. The technician arrived and replaced the broken with a new spring. The job was done in 40 minutes.
The garage door gets to about a foot from the ground and stops closing. Weather-strip at the bottom of the door has also been ripped off. I set up an appointment for that same day between 1 pm and 3 pm. After inspecting the issues, we replaced 2 springs for the door and provided a new weather-strip for the bottom. Tested the door to make sure it now closed and everything works properly.
The customer needed a garage door spring fixed. Both springs needed repair. Completed repair for both springs in an hour. Door is working properly!
