Service Call: Commercial Overhead Door Issue: The cables have come loose. Work Performed: Reset the cables back onto the drum, and replaced the slide lock. Lubricated all components on the door. Tested multiple times for safe and proper operation.
Service Call Work Performed: Top section hitting alarm base. Adjusted top section. Proceeded to add tension to Springs only to find spring has slipped approximate one full turn on the set screws and found set screws stripped on metal winding plugs, drilled and tapped new holes to suit new 3/8” bolts. Spring is secured. After tensioning springs, door is very light. Lubed all moving parts.
