Again, Travis reported to work for this repair promptly and with a call ahead to let me know he was on his way. Much appreciated! He sourced appropriate logic board and replaced it complete the very next day. Although the service was broken into two separate days (diagnose issue day 1 & get parts / repair day 2) overall it was a good experience. The motor controller access panel door did get a little damaged, due to old brittle plastic but GDM are helping to source another for me and gave us a little discount on balance of service which I was unexpected. That why I gave the 5 stars. The technician surprised me, he was honest, well mannered, knew his equipment, dressed in uniform, and took responsibility for the work. I'd recommend Garage Door Medics for future work.

This is part 1 of a 2 part repair & review. Garage door malfunction is internal to equipment. Could not be fixed same day without manufacturer replacement parts. I will say Travis was cordial, called before his visit to give a time line, he was available when I needed him, and he was able to source the part and set up a return appointment same time the following day. I appreciate that level of service. 5 stars would have meant he already knew the make/model of the equipment from records and had parts readily available on his truck. More on the replacement part and repair after it is completed.

Needs new Nema 3 or 4 rated 3-button wall station. Lower building is the one having issues. Will leave time to do both doors after getting estimate for them. We can do one gate or both at same visit. No charge today per tech.
door crooked and not closing. Upon inspection the door limits are off on the marantec operator. No longer manufactured on this model. Will need either new marantec or a liftmaster 8587. Carriage house door. The door is also crooked. The cables are loose on one side. Will need to add quarter turn to each spring and relieve the door for proper balance if door. The new motor can run the door but with the cable rubbing so hard on the right and the loose cable on the left the door isn't in good working condition. Recommend replacing to Liftmaster operator and rebalancing the door as per normal carriage house door maintenance.
2004 chamberlain opener circuit board was bad. Changed out garage door opener with Liftmaster 8550 with battery back up and 7’ belt drive rail. Also programmed car to opener. Included tune up and lubrication.
8/13-Talked with customer via phone. Going out sometime tomorrow after picking up new titanium bits at home depot to get through stucco and metal behind it to mount keypad sturdy on wall. Customer does not have to be home. He said come by anytime no rush. 8-14- installed keypad nice and tight no charge.
Replaced opener, rail and keypad with new liftmaster chain drive with 7` rail. Also replaced heavy springs on one piece tilt up door, included tune up and lubrication service and added kickers to e900 hardware for extra support.
Wall control not working. Checked wire for connection and not working. Tested at motor head and working. Issue is wiring run from motor head to wall station.
Door aluminum glass 15'6"x8'5"x2" replaced motor head line and tune door also replaced inner belt trolly on th e rail
Needs estimate for slide gate operator install with power run to location. Also wants estimate to upgrade his gate as he wants to add wood to it for a newer look. Let him know that he has chainlink and it might not be possible without upgrading to a welded square frame for the gate.
New springs installed, lube and tune service.
Customer stated garage door was a bit noisy. After assessment we replaced solid plastic rollers on garage door per recommendation with nylon rollers with bearings. Also included tune up and lubrication service. Garage door balance seems fine today and safety features working properly.
Added marantec keypad for allomatic slide gate operator. Will need new chain in future. Will call when needed.
